PC/CP300 Electronics Laboratory II

Other Sensors Building Blocks

  1. Wire up an LM7805 regulator with one of the distance sensors to show that the supply voltage to the sensor is a steady 5V as the input supply voltage varies from 7V to 12V.
  2. Also using the LM7805 regulator, wire up your light sensor so that the output voltage goes from less that 1V to more than 4V as the light changes between normal room light and the flashlight.
You may find it helpfult to use one of your previous op-amp building blocks to help with this.
Demonstrate your working blocks at the next lab period.
