Project Weeks III to V
Objectives
- To use a Zigbee shield on the Arduino
- To communicate with another Zigbee device
Equipment
- Arduino Uno board
- XBee shield
- Sharp LCD display
- GPS or RFID
Procedure
Setup
- Attach the Zigbee shield, and get the previous device working
as before.
- Configure the Zigbee interface to communicate with the other
group's board.
You'll want to be able to have either board be the master
or the slave.
Can they create an ad hoc network without each being
predefined as either master or slave?
- Have the two boards exchange information over the Zigbee
interface, so that both displays will show RFID and GPS data.
Demonstrate your working program to
the lab instructor.
Show your pin assignments on the diagram.
