Project Week II

Objectives

  1. To become familiar with the UART on the Arduino.
  2. To send output to the LCD display.

Equipment

Procedure

Setup

  1. Use one of the Serial examples to establish UART communication with the device.
    From the device data sheet, what baud rate is required?
    Does the device produce correct serial output as is, or do the bits need to be flipped?
  2. Send the output from the device to the LCD to display.
    Demonstrate your working program to the lab instructor.
    Show your pin assignments on the diagram.
