CP316: Microprocessor Systems and Interfacing

Pulse Width Modulation

PostLab

  1. Identify the settings needed for each of the 4 modes listed;
    Fast PWM mode - period determined by MAX,
    Fast PWM mode - period determined by OCRA,
    Phase correct PWM - period determined by MAX,
    Phase correct PWM - period determined by OCRA
  2. For one of the modes where period is controlled by OCRA, annotate the resulting oscilloscope sketch to show how the period and duty cycle of the waveform relate to the values in OCRA and OCRB.
  3. Paste this in your lab notebook.

Hand in a copy of the code and sketch at the next lab.
